Muay Thai MINTA* 6-9 years old & 9-12 years old
In Thai boxing training, we learn punches and kicks. We practise these techniques either alone on the punching bag or together with a partner. Consideration is very important here – everyone should have fun and feel comfortable!
Another part of the training is various group games. Some are fast and loud, others quiet and slow. Sometimes two children playfully compete against each other, sometimes the whole group works together. We always pay attention to our own limits and those of the others. In this way, we also train our reaction, agility, attention, balance and coordination.
We also strengthen our self-assertion during training. The children learn to feel what they want and what they don’t want – and practise saying “no” clearly. They learn to express their needs and stand up for themselves – with strength, courage and respect.
